Lexington has suffered its second major ice storm in the past six years. I’m not surprised. This place gets the oddest weather.

Does anyone know what has become of Conglomeration? It’s a smallish SF fan convention held in Louisville, KY. The last I heard, the hotel that hosted the convention went bankrupt not long ago, leaving the con in limbo.

This past Saturday, Justin Stewart organized an art slam/jam at Heroes Comics here in Lexington. Art jams are supposed to be wild, drunken affairs, with free flowing booze, dancing stirippers, and flashing lights.

Tonight I’m unveiling a grass-roots advertising plan on the Apex blog. I have high hopes that it’ll make a difference.
I’m advertising on a budget. That means I can’t buy ad space in the big zines like Rue Morgue, Locus Magazine, and Weird Tales. I’ve looked into banner space on Locus Online and whew boy!

Does anyone have experience with Webmoney? I need to pay an artist but she doesn’t do Paypal and I’m having issues with Webmoney. I’m not keen on doing a wire transfer (costs too much!).
